BLACKBIRD
He couldn't see anymore how his friend sat there looking out of the window. His features like stone. It seemed he hadn’t moved for days. Dark shadows under his sad eyes and hollow cheeks in his grey face. The former golden hair stringy and without its usual shine.
He seemed to live in his own lonely sad world. No matter what Starsky said - no matter what he did.... He couldn't reach him. He couldn't reach Hutch's soul. His friend wouldn't react.
Gillian's sudden death had shattered Hutch's whole life. Starsky couldn't believe it after so many tears Hutch had cried. Now it seemed his friend had lost all hope.
No feelings anymore - yeah - no life anymore.
Starsky didn't know if he had eaten or at least drunk something.
He had to do something before his friend probably collapsed. Starsky thought desperately what he could do. He looked around in Hutch's apartment. ...What could he do...? Suddenly he knew it.
He took his leather jacket off, took a chair and picked up Hutch's beloved guitar.
Starsky started to play...he took a deep breath, closed his eyes and began to sing:

After he finished and opened his eyes he looked in tired but surprised pale blue eyes.
Hutch whispered: 'How come you sing this old Beatles song?'
Starsky immediately grinned from ear to ear and said: 'Welcome back buddy - I missed ya.'

And why? Well...because he's so loyal, protective, beloved, clever and a bit clumsy but also really beautiful and pretty and sexy...well...almost perfect!!!

If I would broke a mirror I couldn't change a thing about it so I would not worry about it. It would be useless to worry about. Usually I wouldn't walk under a ladder because it could be dangerous. It would be foolish to tempt fate. The same with the crack. I would walk when I'm sure it's safe. To me it has nothing to do with bad luck.
